The Rooom 11/2025
We have taken part in THE ROOOM competition — an experimental contest in which SpaghettiWall, Ferroluce and Innova Imbottiti invited 24 Italian design studios to interpret their vision.
Participants were asked to propose their own personal interpretation of the space, using the elements provided by the three brands. At the heart of the competition is a room to be reimagined as an intimate, convivial environment — a space designed to welcome a small group of people and recreated inside Le Stanze, the partner brands’ showroom on Via Cino del Duca 2 in Milan.
For our concept, we drew inspiration from the Andes — a place suspended in time, where the connection to the earth remains at the core of existence.
The project takes shape around the Chacana, the Andean cross, a symbol that bridges worlds and embodies harmony between nature and humanity. Its geometry guided the design: stepped elements evoking spiritual ascent, archaic forms paired with reflective surfaces, and a color palette shaped by the sun, wind, salt and minerals of the highlands.
The result is a space that celebrates the primordial force of nature and invites us to reconnect with our deepest roots.
